The Global Ethiopian Diaspora for Prosperity and Diversity (GEDPD) is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the Ethiopian diaspora and fostering unity through diversity. Our mission is to enhance Ethiopia’s prosperity by promoting inclusivity within the global diaspora, advocating for Ethiopia on the world stage, and advancing the well-being of our community.

1. Unity through Diversity: We promote inclusivity by embracing and celebrating the diversity of the Ethiopian diaspora, building a cohesive global community that contributes to Ethiopia’s development.

2. Public Diplomacy: GEDPD actively engages in public diplomacy, fostering positive relationships between Ethiopia and other nations. We advocate for international cooperation and collaboration to advance Ethiopia’s interests.

3. Advocacy for Community Well-being: We champion the social, economic, and political well-being of the Ethiopian diaspora, ensuring their voices are heard and supported globally.

• Education & Capacity Building: We provide training and resources to equip the diaspora with skills that benefit both their host countries and Ethiopia’s advancement.

• Strengthening Diplomatic Relations: GEDPD is committed to building diplomatic relationships and partnerships with governments, organizations, and international stakeholders to advocate for Ethiopia’s global standing.
